Muriel’s Event Planners take care of each distinguished detail, from the ideal music and flowers down to the precise theme and party favors; we make sure your guests will talk about your fabulous party here for years to come.
When planning a special event at Muriels, there are several rooms to choose from including The Wine Room, The Veranda, The Small Plantation, Plantation, Cotillion, The Séance, The Balcony, Second Floor,and Full Restaurant, accommodating 2-800 guests. Our Event Planners can assist you in choosing the perfect room and menu to create the atmosphere you desire the most. Please keep in mind that our room capacity varies with table arrangement, buffet reception, bar set up, audio visual, live music, so our Event Planners will assist you in choosing the optimum location at Muriels for your special event.

The guaranteed number of guests expected to attend is required 7 working days prior to event. This guaranteed number will be considered the number for which you will be charged even if fewer guest attend. If the actual count is higher than anticipated we will charge accordingly. Muriel’s Jackson Square reserves the right to change groups to function rooms more suitable for guaranteed attendance. Arrival time must also be guaranteed. A late fee of 10% of contracted price may be assessed for every 30 minutes after the guaranteed arrival time. A Banquet Event Order must be signed in order to reserve the space, and a 50% deposit will be required upon signature of banquet event order to confirm the reservation, otherwise the space may be released. Muriel’s Jackson Square will be happy to hold a space tentatively. A signed Banquet Event Order and deposit are required or the space will be released at the discretion of Muriel’s Jackson Square.

Muriel’s Jackson Square will be happy to coordinate live music, entertainment, audio visual needs, floral needs, wedding officiates etc. Muriel’s Jackson Square will add these incidentals to the banquet event order. If you and/or someone else are handling these arrangements, please inform Muriel’s of the delivery/pick-up arrangements you have made.
